The house was spacious and beautiful, and the pool was amazing; however, there was a significant oversight in communicat Positive: We really appreciated the house's proximity to the beach, because we did walk. It’s $12 parking at the beach. The house comfortably accommodated five of us and our pets. The pool was lovely, featuring nice ambient lighting. They provided pool floaties, beach gear, including kids' toys, and a basic starter kit (dish soap, laundry detergent, toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags). We used the patio table every day, and the kitchen was well-stocked with seasonings (left by previous guests), dishes, small appliances, and pots and pans. Negative: We experienced poor communication from the time of booking until our arrival regarding basic amenities, such as the number of beach chairs available. We were only informed about this two hours before arrival. Upon entering the property, we found it dusty and were asked if it would be fair to refund the cleaning fee to have their cleaner work for free. The home showed signs of neglect, including scuff marks on the walls and an outdoor TV that didn't work (though they did come to fix the lights). Additionally, no propane was provided for the grill, which should have been included given the price we paid; they charge double for a tank. Heating the hot tub costs an extra $50 per day, and the hot tub was closed for the season—a detail that should have been communicated beforehand. The biggest disappointment was that the golf cart provided was not street legal.

Positive: close proximity to beach. pool temp was great - 95 degrees Negative: outside patio TV would not work could use more hooks to air dry towels, swim suits, etc pool light wasn't working parking very tight for 3 vehicles

Other than the first night, we had a pleasant time. Positive: Space and location. Negative: First night in, someone knocked at the door. My 20 year old niece opened the door, and a lady asked for the person responsible for the booking, and she seemed agitated. My niece asked her to wait, and closed the door to go get me. In the meantime, one of the teenagers was going outside, and this is when the lady lost it. She started yelling at them, telling them to leave. She grabbed and pulled him by the arm, telling him that we all needed to leave, especially him. The boy she grabbed is African American. She was holding her cellphone up, and it looked like she was recording. The kids were very nervous, and didn’t understand what was going on. I came downstairs, and before I could say a word, she started yelling at me, saying that she wanted us out now. She kept reapeating this over and over and didn’t let me speak. I asked her why, and she said that we have to leave because there were too many people in the house and that my booking only said 2 guests. I tried to talk to her about it, but she kept yelling “you need to leave now”. She seemed to be under the influence. I kept my calm, and tried to reason with her. The younger lady that was with her tried to calm her down. When I was finally able to speak, I told them that it had to be a mistake because I booked this house because it could accommodate 20 guests. I was there with my in-laws, sister and kids, and had 2 more on the way, for a total of 20 guests. The older lady was saying that I was throwing a party, but that was not true. We were there to spend some quality time with family. I told them that my booking search was always for 20 guests, and that I wouldn’t book a $1,500 house for just 2 guests. I didn’t realize that the booking was showing 2 guests. The younger lady was more understanding and said that she could fix it. The owner ruined our first night there. We drove almost 4 hours to have a pleasant time with my family that came all the way from Puerto Rico, to be treated this way.
