Anchors Away – Gulf Views, Private Pool, Golf Cart & Fire Pit Retreat

I vacation with my family every year. This year there 14 of us and we truly thought we found the perfect house.Let me start by saying that communication with the actual owner was phenomenal. The toilet in the upstairs hallway didn't flush and leaned terribly, it was fixed immediately. My grandson put a small rubber ball in the pool table pocket and the owner cam that day to get it out.While communication was great, the house itself is in dire need of renovations. The bedrooms were ok, just outdated. The bathrooms are in bad shape. There is mold on the walls. The bathroom doors are warped due to flooding (I'm guessing). The bathtub drips. The sinks dont drain properly. The air vents are dusty. One box fan didn't work. The ceilings are dusty. The house is not adequately equipped for 10 people. For example....4 coffee cups. We had to buy coffee cups.When you pay over 10K for a house, it should be impeccable....this was NOT. So disappointing

The host was very very helpful and very quick to respond.The home was very clean and well maintained. The beds were so comfortable.Kitchen was fully stocked for large family cooking.The pictures are great but the home is so much nicer in person. I would definitely rent this beautiful home again.

The home really needs a lot of general maintenance. There were several issues from the beginning and they were taken care of quickly. I just think for the cost that the home should be in better condition.
